Medical Training (6/28)
Medical training day felt like the real beginning of the mission trip, with volunteers rotating through vitals, CPR refreshers, pharmacy, and Vietnamese terminology before departure.
Here we are, medical training day. The weather felt hot enough to preview Vietnam already, but being inside the MemorialCare building turned the day into a focused run-through of what the mission would require.
Training stations covered vitals, CPR refresher work, pharmacy, and Vietnamese terminology. Providers and advisors rotated with the team and added the kind of practical advice that only comes from experience.
The presentations later in the day brought the deeper meaning back into focus. It was a reminder that the trip is special not only because of where the team is going, but because of the years of work and trust that made this moment possible.
